JNC employers and staff for youth and community workers have agreed on pay for 2018 and 2019. Employment contracts or employment contracts inform you of your rights and obligations as an employee. They can be written or oral (spoken). The JNC has agreed on compensation for 2020. It was created in 1951 to establish voluntary collective bargaining mechanisms for young people and local government workers. Registered agreements cannot offer a base salary less than the corresponding premium. National employment standards also remain in place. Sometimes employment contracts are referred to as something else, such as an “agreement” or “conditions of employment” or “labour agreement.” Some jobs are covered by older types of agreements. This type of registered agreement can no longer be concluded. Casual workers are bound only by rights to: It is important to keep in mind that your contract can offer you nothing less than what is included in the corresponding modern premium or registered agreement and national employment standards. Premiums do not apply when a company has entered into a registered contract. A registered contract is when a company or group of companies negotiates compensation and terms directly with its employees instead of using a bonus. For example, an employment contract cannot offer less wages or conditions than the minimum wage, national employment standards or a bonus or registered agreement. Employment contracts, bonuses and registered agreements cannot exclude national employment standards. Nor can they provide for conditions below national employment standards or the minimum wage.
